How the simulator works
- 80 multiple-choice questions, shown one at a time, with four choices each.
- 8 minutes on the clock. It does not pause, and you cannot go back to an earlier question.
- Scoring here is +1 for a correct answer, −1 for a wrong one and 0 for a skip.

- Questions mix integers, decimals, fractions, percentages and missing-operand problems.
What the real test is for
- The 80 in 8 is part of the online assessment Optiver uses to screen trading candidates.

- The real test does not allow skipping or going back, so every question needs an answer.
