Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of TraderPrep (“TraderPrep”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), including traderprep.org and all related content and services (the “Service”). TraderPrep is operated as a sole proprietorship based in New York, United States. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service, and old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you may only use the Service with the involvement of a parent or guardian. By using the Service you represent that you meet these requirements.

2. Your account

You are responsible for the information you provide, for keeping your login credentials confidential, and for all activity under your account. Accounts are for a single individual and may not be shared. Notify us promptly at support@traderprep.org if you suspect unauthorized use of your account.

3. License and acceptable use

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Service for your own individual, non-commercial training and educational purposes. You agree not to:

• copy, reproduce, resell, redistribute, publicly display, or share the exercises or other content of the Service;
• use automated tools to scrape, harvest, or bulk-download the Service or its content;
• reverse engineer, interfere with, or attempt to circumvent access controls, usage limits, or security features;
• use the Service to violate any law or the rights of others, or to transmit malicious code.

4. Subscriptions, billing, and refunds

TraderPrep offers a free tier with limited daily usage and a paid “Pro” subscription with expanded access. Paid subscriptions are billed through our payment processor, Stripe.

• Recurring billing. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a recurring basis (monthly or annually, depending on the plan you select) at the price shown at checkout, plus any applicable taxes.
• Automatic renewal. Your subscription automatically renews at the end of each billing period, and your payment method will be charged for the next period, until you cancel. By subscribing, you authorize these recurring charges.
• Cancellation. You can cancel at any time from your account page or the billing portal. Cancellation stops future renewals; your Pro access continues through the end of the period you have already paid for.
• Price changes. We may change subscription prices. Any change will apply to future billing periods, and we will give you reasonable advance notice where required by law.
• Refunds. Subscription payments, including partial billing periods, are generally non-refundable. Because you can cancel at any time to prevent future charges, we do not provide prorated refunds for the unused portion of a billing period. If you were charged in error, experienced a billing problem, or have another exceptional circumstance, email support@traderprep.org and we will review your situation in good faith; refunds granted at our discretion are decided case by case.
• Free trials. If we offer a free trial, you will not be charged until the trial ends. If you cancel before the trial ends, you will not be charged; otherwise your subscription begins and your payment method is charged automatically.
• Your statutory rights. Nothing in this section limits any refund or cancellation rights you may have under the consumer-protection laws that apply to you. Where those laws give you stronger rights, they control.

5. Intellectual property

The Service, including its exercises, text, graphics, and software, and the TraderPrep name and logo, are owned by TraderPrep and protected by intellectual-property laws. Except for the limited license granted above, these Terms do not transfer any rights in the Service to you.

6. Educational purpose — not financial advice

The Service is provided for educational and interview-preparation purposes only. Nothing on TraderPrep is financial, investment, trading, tax, or legal advice, and it should not be relied on as such. The exercises are simulations and do not reflect real markets or real money. We make no guarantee that using the Service will result in any interview, job offer, or other outcome. Any decisions you make are your own responsibility.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TraderPrep and its operator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim or USD $100. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

9. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless TraderPrep and its operator from any claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising out of your use of the Service or your violation of these Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if we discontinue the Service. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law — will survive.

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
