Two quant, one coding, one behavioral
What to expect
- Two quantitative or math rounds: pen-and-paper probability, expected value and statistics.
- One coding round, matched to your track.
- One behavioral and fit round.
- Traders are pushed into futures microstructure and options theory; quants into applied statistics and their own projects.
- Held mainly at Jump’s Chicago headquarters, though other trading offices run their own onsites.
How to prepare
- Rehearse futures and market-making questions if you are on the trading track; they show up specifically in this round.
- Keep pen-and-paper probability sharp for two rounds in a row, not just one.
- Prepare one clear walkthrough of a personal project or research question for the fit round.
